Ayurvedic Panchakarma Therapy

Panchakarma is one of the major therapeutic approaches in Ayurveda. It traditionally comprises specialised procedures intended for therapeutic purification and the management of Dosha imbalance. Treatment is individualised for each patient.

The principal procedures are Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya and Raktamokshana. Depending on clinical needs, preparatory and supportive therapies such as Snehana, Swedana, Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Kati Basti and Janu Basti, along with other specialised Ayurvedic procedures, may be added to the treatment plan.

"Panchakarma is not a one-size-fits-all therapy. Each procedure is selected only after a detailed assessment by a qualified Ayurvedic physician."
